There are often specific procedures and protocols that have to be followed to the letter when an employee gets fired. Otherwise, you end up situations like this! 

When an employee is fired, their bosses and HR team never quite know how they're going to react. Some employees get sad and cry a lot. Others say nothing. Some of them flip out and become irate.
